Paddy Power x Darts Championships

Introduction

For the most prestigious event in the world of darts, Paddy Power aimed to craft an unforgettable experience for their clients. This is where our role came in, assisting them in designing a memorable presentation box. Discover more about this project below.

The Client and Goal

Paddy Power, an Irish betting company, provides gambling services across various sectors, including all sports events, online casino games with a focus on poker and bingo. Not to mention, they also have an astonishing 600 shops, 250 of which in Ireland and 350 in the UK, in the top citys such as London, Manchester, Glasglow and Belfast.

Magellan was approached by Paddy Power to design a presentation box for the 2024 PDC World Darts Championship, an event sponsored by Paddy Power. With great anticipation building throughout the year, Paddy Power aimed to distribute darts boards and other celebratory items for the 31st championship to their clients. Magellan suggested that they showcased the dartsboards in a large presentational box, ensuring enough space while enhancing a feeling of excitement and luxury. This approach aligns with the competitive spirit of the event.

Presentation Packaging Specifications

In the making of this unique but elegant presentation box, we carefully chose a variety of finer details and specifications, each contributing to the creation of the final product. The specifications are listed below.

The design featured a B Flute box, a pizza box style, which was enhanced with full-colour print. This was digitally printed and measuring at 700x700x70mm, ensuring an impressive presence. Upon unveiling the box were small, elegantly printed pillow packs, resealable clear bags and the finishing touch was the inclusion of a header card. Serving as a visual and informative highlight of the darts board presentation box.

Inside Contents

Upon opening the presentation box, recipients will discover a dartboard neatly placed within, surrounded by a foam lining. This thoughtful inclusion is designed to protect the walls of the recipient's , minimizing the chance of damage and demonstrating a sense of care and consideration.

In addition, the package includes three darts, a hook, and screws for hanging the dartboard. To further enhance this sense of security, we've also provided satches of polyfiller. These additional items not only complement the dartboard but also ensure that recipients have everything they need for a seamless and enjoyable experience.

The beautifully printed presentation box we created resulted in an unforgettable experience, perfectly commemorating the 2024 Darts Championships. This outcome not only showcased Paddy Power's commitment to quality and attention to detail, but also aligned seamlessly with their business.
